Looking for a Draftsperson
We are looking for a Draftsperson to join our team. The role will see you working both independently and with our other drafters, reporting to the project managers, Senior Consultant & Director. Immediate Employment will initially be casual, with the opportunity of full-time work given after a provisional period. Your salary will be negotiated depending on your experience. The role is full-time hours, with overtime work provided when necessary. Part-time work can be discussed as an option. Key Roles and Responsibilities of the role include;
Creating detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Creating fabrications drawings with cut lists.
Managing drawing revisions.
Managing multiple projects at once.
Communicate with architects, engineers and builders to incorporate knowledge gained into drawings.
Identifying and communicating potential variations and design problems.
To be considered for this role you must have;
At minimum a year’s experience with AutoCAD.
A positive and professional attitude towards clients and co-workers.
Hold an attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Experience in drafting metalwork is preferred, but not essential.
Experience in drafting structural steelworks is preferred, but not essential.
